During the day we will tend to lose motivation and become unproductive. When you notice yourself becoming unproductive I suggest the following:
1. Take a walk for at least 10-15 minutes outside if possible. If not, then take a walk inside. Look for things that inspire you(nature, etc.). If it is someone that inspires you then take a walk to their desk for a brief chat.
2. Belly Laugh(read, listen, or watch something funny).
3. If it's lunch time go to lunch with someone that you really enjoy spending time with instead of just anyone that will go with you. Attitudes are like a fragrance. If you are near it some will get on you.
4. Call a friend or family member that lifts you up and encourages you.
5. If it's toward the end of the day and you are losing steam I have found that laughing for a good 10-15 minutes works great.
6. If you are the encouraging type or even if you are not it's time to call, email, or talk to someone and say something that lifts them up.
7. Contact a good friend that you haven't talked to in a while.
